To the Kocik Family, I was extremely shocked and saddened to learn of Father Kocik's passing last weekend. I was the choir director at St. Mary's for 12 years, soon after he began his ministry at the church, and I came to know him as a wonderful and deeply caring priest who had a great sense of humor. His homilies were to the point and very profound and certainly gave me a great deal to contemplate. There will be a long-lasting deep void in my heart for "Father Frank" but I am comforted in believing that I think he knew how grateful I was to him for bringing me closer to Jesus as I received the Eucharist from his hands. From, the heart...

Dear Kocik family,
So sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I have many fond memories of our friendship and time together at Binghamton North High, those many years ago. When I later heard that he had a vocation to the priesthood, I was not surprised. His goodness and grace were evident even as a young man.
Thoughts and prayers,
Frank Tedeschi

Dear Tom, John/Linda, Ricky, and Loretta, so sorry to hear of the passing of Fr. Frank. By his stature and devout actions, he was the “standard” to which all altar boys at St Mary’s of the Assumption tried to emulate, growing up in the ‘50s and ‘60s. His vocation took it even farther, giving so much hope and comfort to so many. A few years ago, when I was visiting in Binghamton, I had the good fortune to say hello to him prior to mass. Peace...

To Johnny and family. I was so sad to hear the news at mass Sunday. I will miss him not giving the community the sacraments. He always told it like it is and God bless him for that gift. May God give him eternal peace.

Dear John, so sorry to read of your brother’s passing. I remember him saying Mass on Sunday afternoons when I would go to St. Mary’s. Although I never met him he seemed like a very devout and holy man. Take care.
