Kay passed from this life into the arms of her son Jimmy and Dad KL on New Years Day. She was born an only child to KL and Arlene Hicks in Salt Lake City. She attended Olympus High School. Kay was blessed with two children, Jimmy and Becky whom she loved very much. They were her life. She was loving, supportive and hardworking, giving all she could for her kids. They enjoyed traveling, boating fishing and being outdoors. She loved being with family and friends. She loved her yoga family, gardening, shopping and of course her dogs. She was a most creative woman.
She is survived by her mother Arlene Hicks, husband Frank, daughter Rebecca (Billy) Taylor, son Cory (Terri) Hollis, daughter Jodi Galanis, grandchildren Megan, Jimmy, Markie, Ashlee, Larry, Troy, Stephanie, Tia and Telise, and many loving cousins. Preceded in death by father, KL Hicks and son Jimmy Jensen.
She requested cremation. Services will be held in the Spring. She will be buried in the Murray City Cemetery with her son and dad.
Mom, We will miss you, your beautiful smile and your pretty face. Thank you for always being there for us. Squeeze Jimmy and Grandad for us.
God Bless You

Becky,Gram,Billy,Markie and Ashlee,
My heart broke when I heard of Kay's passing. Kay was such a big part of my teenage years as well as many others. I don't know how most of us would have made it through our teenage years without your mothers shoulder to cry on.
Kay was beautiful, fun, caring and one of the strongest women I know. I know how much she loved her family and smile at the thought of the reunion she is having with Grandad and Jimmy. She loved her family and puppies with all her heart and will be watching over you all from Heaven! There too many things to mention that we will miss about Kay, but I can't help but put a big smile on my face every time I think of her. I love you all!
