Leilani Taggart Obituary

Leilani (Mosler) Taggart

Leilani (Mosler) Taggart, 53, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2015, after courageously fighting a long battle with cancer. Leilani was born and raised in San Francisco. She joined PSA (later US Air) as a flight attendant until the mid 1990's. Everyone who met Leilani instantly loved her. She was always warm, friendly and happy to see you. Her presence just made you feel so full of joy and gratefulness to have her as a friend. She enjoyed music, cooking, and nature but her pride and joy was her three children, and her loving husband, who were the center and focus of her life. Leilani is survived by her three children, Scott, Kevin, Jaclyn, her husband, Jeffrey Taggart, her mother-in-law, Delores Taggart, her sister and brother, Kimberly and Eric Mosler and her sister's partner Kristen Natoli.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Leilani on Thursday, September 3, 2015 2pm at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, 950 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Mission Hospice and Home Care San Mateo www.missionhospice.org.

I am just finding out about this and I am very saddened to learn of Leilani's passing. She is such a sweet and wonderful person. I always enjoyed flying with her, as I knew there would be no drama as she would have no part of it. What a beautiful person inside and out!

I was lucky enough to be with her during our training at PSA. I have attached our class photo.

My sincere condolences

Here it is almost a year and I have just learned of Leilani's passing. My heart is so broken to learn of this news. Leilani and I were good friends from the Airlines. We both flew for PSA then later USair. I am so sorry to hear of this beautiful woman passing. Her smile and presense were uplifting. She was pure joy to be around and I will miss her dearly.

Dearest Jeff, I just heard that Leilani is now with her family in heaven and made the ultimate sacrifice. My most deepest and sincere apologies in the loss of such a magnamous, beautiful, and one of Gods Angels here on earth. Since first meeting her and seeing you with her, I knew you felt love at first sight for this beautiful and funny gal. I loved her funny side as well as her compassionate side. Adam, my son always thought she was so beautiful, friendly and sweet to him. She will be watching over you, so don't be afraid to talk to her as she will answer. Just listen. I pray that you and your beautiful children find peace and love with each other. We found donating a tree and having in a place she visited helped us. God Bless your family with strength and love and understanding the loss. I think about you and Leilani often and always feel so fortunate for knowing you both and your wonderful brother, Brett.

Hi Jeff,
I am not sure if you remember me, but I was Scott and Kevin's teacher at Neighborhood Montessori. My husband, Bryan used to give swim lessons to your children and Andrew Bradshaw at your pool when they were little. Sometimes I would come and join him and Leilani would bring out wine and crackers for the adults after the swim lessons. Words cannot describe how deeply saddened I am to hear of her passing. She was one of the warmest, kindest, person I have every met. She always made everyone feel so welcomed and always showed appreciation and gratitude for what she had. Please accept my condolences as Leilani will be deeply missed.

I remember Leilani from Lincoln High School. She was a grade behind me, but we had some mutual friends. She was a beautiful and sweet young lady then and I can only imagine that she matured into a fantastic wife and mom. Jeff, you may not remember me, but we were classmates as well and, in later years, you and I and Bob Lahl worked out at the old West Coast Fitness Center on Taraval Street. Good days, good times!! I am so sorry for your loss. These passings really hit home. Take care.

"I am so sorry" cannot convey the sorrow that I feel for her husband, Jeff, her children, her family and close friends. I was a co-worker of Leilani's when we both worked at PSA/USAirways and she was always loved and respected by all--and a joy to be around. Although I haven't seen her in many years I truly do feel the loss. She was "one of the good ones!" Actually she was one of the best! May memories of happier days help you through this painful time. You're all in my thoughts and prayers....
