Frank Dupuy Obituary

A kind and thoughtful man with a rye sense of humor. He was a third generation Los Angelino, raised in Alhambra where he graduated high school and then was drafted and served as a radio operator in the Army Air Corps in WWII. He graduated from UCLA and worked for many years as a "pneumatic therapist" and travel agent. He and his wife Johanna were married for 61 years and raised 5 children in their eccentric Altadena home. A lifetime railroad enthusiast and preservationist with a soft spot for Model T Fords and streetcars, Frank's memory will live on with each joyful clang of the bell on his beloved Jitney bus!

Frank was a true friend of ours and of every one that knew him. We enjoyed singing in the Church Choir at St. Elizabeth of Hungary
Parish in Altadena. His diligence and faithful works were amazing. His wife Jo was wonderful and their love of each other a great example to us.
May he rest in peace and perpetual shine on him and his wife. Combined once more for all Eternity singing in that choir of Angels
In sweet harmony.
Our sincere condolences to his family and friends and Thanks for you service Frank.
You will definitely be missed.
