Peter Guinta

GUINTA, Peter, 81, of New Port Richey, Fla., died October 16, 2006, at home under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and came here 10 years ago from Countryside, and lived in Indian Rocks Beach, Fla. 15 years and Pinellas county for a total of 25 years. He was previously from Lynbrook, N.Y. He was an owner operator with Alpha G. Photo Lab in Largo, Fla., a member of the Lions Club, East Rockaway, N.Y. and Seminole, Fla. and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 807 in New York City, N.Y. Peter is survived by his wife of 36 years, Theresa A.; son, Peter T. of St. Augustine, Fla.; two daughters, Frances Guinta of Safety Harbor, Fla. and Angela O'Melia of Sanford, Fla.; two brothers, Tony Guinta and Joe Guinta, both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Frances Ruta of Hauppauge, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Ian, Melissa, Georgio, Joseph and Natalie Guinta and Mary and Rosalie O'Melia; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Guinta. He is preceded in death by his son, George. A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006, at Michels ' Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Richey, Fla. Family members will greet friends at 10:30 a.m. before the service. Donations are suggested to Hernando Pasco Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
