Jayne Golliher Obituary
Age 63. Thursday, October 23, 2008 after a lengthy and valiant battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born November 24, 1944.
Jayne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nora (nee Ardaugh) Maher; and her best friend for life and sister, Joan (nee Maher) Offermann.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip; her children, Michelle, nee Hibler (Robert) Jankowski, and Brian (Tanya) Hibler; her five grandchildren, Devinn, Jake and Max Jankowski; and Kaylee Jayne and Kendall Grace Hibler; her sisters, Maryellen (nee Maher, Mandzuk) Eberhard, and Frances (nee Maher) McDonald; her brother, Thomas (Sandy) Maher; two stepchildren; two step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; and three best friends, Kathy, Jeannie and Chris.
At Jayne's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded.
All friends and relatives are invited to gather at the Church of St. Jude, 2212 McDonough Street, Joliet on Monday, October 27, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until the Memorial Mass begins at 10:00 a.m.
Private interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
Memorials in her name may be made to St. Jude School Building Fund or Joliet Area Community Hospice.

Jayne was such a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. We didn't know her for long, but the love she had for her family was demonstrated in her words and actions. May you be comforted by the knowledge that she is with Christ in Heaven.

To Jayne's family:
My sympathies go out to the family of Jayne. She was my secretary for a period of time at Joliet West High School. I am a Dean there and she was such a wonderful person who was happy all the time despite her health issues. I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
