Mary Adams Obituary

Mary Louise Adams COLUMBIA Funeral service for Mary L. Adams will be held at noon today at Trinity Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. A.A. Dicks Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements. Ms. Adams was born August 19, 1950, to the late Robert and Roberta Williams Adams. She was a 1968 graduate of C.A. Johnson High School. She furthered her studies, earning degrees from S.C. State University in Psychology and Special Education, Howard University in Educational Psychology, and USC where she studied Psychiatric Nursing. Mary was a member of the social fellowship Swing Phi Swing, Inc. and the NAACP. For over fifteen years, she was a longterm substitute teacher in Richland County, S.C. School District One. She is survived by her sisters, Barbara (Joseph) Geiger and Alvenia Adams, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visit us on the web at: www.aadicksfuneralhome.com.
