Chris & Christopher -
I just wanted to let you both know that you're often in my thoughts. I think about Robin and my days at the studio a lot, remembering all the fun we used to have, especially at the store.
I recently found the video tape of my 1988 dance recital - how much things have changed since then! How I miss those days, and everyone at Robin's.
I hope you're doing well. Keep in touch.
My love and prayers to you both,
Theodora Spalek

To Robin's friends and family:
I was very saddened to learn of Robin's passing. I knew her a long time ago when we were younger. She was a great person, and it sounds like she touched a lot of lives.
I pass through Utica often, and would like to visit her grave. Could someone tell me where her marker is at Mt. Olivet so that I can pay my respects? I would really appreciate it.
My condolences to her friends and family.
Sincerely,
Diane Morris

Dear Chris, Christopher, Kim, Donna, Robert and families,
In many ways big and small, Robin's life changed our world and left it a better place. She touched too many hearts to ever be forgotten! Thoughts of my time with Robin fill my mind and heart. Many years of the first day of class, picture day, costumes, recitals...and who could forget 'Suzy Snowflake'.
May the warmest of memories give you strength always.
Love, Diane Morris

Dear Chris,Donna,Kevin and Barb, I was so saddened to read the news of Robin's passing. We all were good friends 30 years ago. And after reading all of the beautiful thoughts that your friends had to say about Robin's numerous accomplishments in dance, I also have fond and happy memories of Robin dancing to "The Bump" at Utica Free Academy. Keep those great memories close to your heart. God bless, Jill

23 years ago my cousins and I waved feather dusters in the air to the song whistle while you work! And pretended to throw imaginary foot balls to hip hip hooray for Mr. touch down! We were all so proud at 3 and 5 years old to be on her stage! Through private lessons and writing 100 times we will not fight in class she molded our talents and inspired us to be the adults we have become. looking back at all of the recitals, competitions, metals and ribbons my most fond memory of Miss. Robin is when our music malfunctioned (Philadelphia freedom) mid song and she gave us the courage to go on without music and finish our tap routine to a standing ovation! It wasent the people who stood or the applause in our ears it was the sincere look of Pride in her smile that made us feel like we did a job well done.
miss robin's rising star.....forever

She has taught me so much over the years and i am so thankful for having that. Someday i will take it all with me and share it with others.

Christopher and Chris,
I will never, ever forget Ms. Robin. I was blessed with her presence for the six years that I had taken dance with her. The smiles and laughs we shared will always be close at heart. Ms. Robin always used to joke and say that we should be roomates because we had so much in common! I feel very lucky to have ANYthing in common with such a sincere, sweet person. She will forever be an inspiration to me.
My thoughts are with you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
