Nicholas Zeigler Obituary
He was a member of Primitive Methodist Church, Tamaqua, and also attended St. John U.C.C., Tamaqua, with his girlfriend Bree.
Nick loved his family, Bree, and was especially endearing to his younger siblings, who he took fishing Saturday morning.
He and his family opened their home as a foster family. He was passionate about the cause. Nick also worked at the Tamaqua Child Care Center, where he was known as "Mr. Nick." The children he took care of loved him and he loved them too.
Nick's heart always had room for someone to love. On May 18, 2010, he found his soulmate Bree. They had future plans which Bree will carry out in his memory.
Born in Lehighton, he was the second son of Marlin and Jessica (Edmonds) Zeigler, with whom he resided. He was also the godson of Shannon and Scott Fritz of New Ringgold.
He will live forever in the hearts of his sister Lexi, his three brothers, Nate, Nolan and Alex; his girlfriend Bree; all of his aunts, uncles and cousins; his maternal grandfather, William L. Edmonds of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and his paternal grandparents, Paul O. and Florence Zeigler of Jim Thorpe.
Service: Funeral service 10 a..m. Saturday, May 5, E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. Rodney Hall officiating. Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call 6-9 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday. Contributions in his name may be sent to the funeral home, 18252, for the family to establish an annual fishing derby to raise money for Children & Youth in Nick's memory. To the Zeigler Family,
Words are so very inadequate when one attempts to express heartfelt sympathy at the loss of one so young. You only have to read the notes of condolence expressed by those who knew Nick, to understand the many lives so positively touched by his presence.
