Ruth BRANDT Obituary

August 7, 1921 - April 16, 2013 Age 91 ~ Of Maplewood Preceded in death by husband, Elden. Survived by children, Dixon (Barbara), James, Carla (David) Wiper, Colleen (Tim) Netzell, Clark (Joanne); 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Esther Halvorson. Ruth was born at her family home in Appleton, MN to John & Clara Dixon. She attended Winona Teachers College in 1939. Ruth & Elden were married from Feb. 28, 1944, until Elden's death April 2, 1991. Ruth worked for 15 years as a pre-school teacher at House of Hope and was an active member at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Memorial service 11 AM Friday, April 19 at EMMAUS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1074 W. Idaho Ave., St. Paul. Interment private. MUELLER-BIES 651-487-2550
