Description above.

December 8, 2013

My thoughts and prayers go out to Brian's family and friends. I was fortunate to share many high school memories with him and it always seemed our group could turn a seemingly uneventful night into something full of laughter with a little chaos for good measure. I will alway remember Brian with a smile on his face, quick-witted, and a charisma that attracted everyone around him. We'll miss you Brian.

Note: The attached picture is from a trip to Matt's cabin. On our way there our group stopped at a Goodwill for no particular reason. What did we buy? Used karate sparring pads. There was no intended use for the karate gear, but they certainly added an extra layer of hilarity sewn into all of our weekend adventures seen here.

I had the pleasure to get to know Brian on the ball field over the last few years as he joined his brother in-law's (Jake) softball team in Minneapolis. What a cannon of an arm he had! I can still feel the sting through the padding on my glove from each of his throws. A great ballplayer and even a finer man. Our entire team really enjoyed the time we spent with Brian on the ball field and in the dugout, often accompanied by his wonderful wife and playful dogs. I am grateful to have had the chance to know Brian. What a great guy to be around.

Sue, Scott & Kristin,
I remember when Brian was born to the house at Redwell Lane, years later throwing the football in the backyard & letting you kids eat as much Halloween candy as you wanted at Rushmore Dr. You were the only guys I ever kidsat for & Brian always wanted to play football in the then unfinished basement. The last time I saw Brian was at an Apple Valley HS football game when he came up to say hi to my mom & I.

May the love of those around you comfort you in the days ahead.
