Dear Dan,
On behalf of the parents association at St. Thomas More Collegiate, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies at the passing of your beloved father. By all accounts he was a dependable and caring man who made a positive impact on his family and the many people he met. The world is a poorer place because of his passing. Our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

I was saddened to learn about the passing of Izzy. I worked with him for over 10 years at GTS. He convinced me to take my apprenticeship. He was very much an instrumental person in my life. I was fortunate enough to tell him that and thanked him several years ago for being an influential figure in my life, especially while I went through some difficult times in my 20's. Never a man to judge anyone, he got along with everyone he encountered. Izzy was always reliable at work, he was methodical, precise and a very good tradesman. He was also a positive man and a good person to be around. He always spoke very fondly about his family, he would speak proudly of his daughter who I recall is a teacher and his son, I believe a machinist. Unfortunately and very regrettably, I am unable to attend his service next week. It is goodbye for now but Izzy will not be forgotten. I'll always remember him as one of the difference makers. RIP my friend.
