I played cribbage with Phil back in 1988 in a grass roots club. He was a great player. I saw his name listed in Cribbage World with a gold ranking and that he had passed away. Although it has been many, many years since playing in that group, I remember Phil teaching me how to be a better cribbage player.

Dear Mary Ellen & Vicki, So very sorry to hear this news...I didn't know. Phillip was a kind man and had a good heart. My Grandma thought the world of him and you Mary Ellen, both of you were so very good to her. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

We enjoyed meeting and spending time with Phillip and Mary Ellen on their visits to Newfoundland. My wife, Ruth Badcock-Collins, is a distant cousin of Phillip's and his interest in family history led to many interesting discussions., Phillip was a warm and friendly person and we are saddened to hear of his passing.

I read Falling Leaves a few years ago. The stories and art work were amazing. I have one the the original Falling Leaves from Mr. Babcock. It is number 245 of the original 950 copies printed by Derrydale Press Inc. This copy was previously owned by Tristram C. Colkett II...as evidenced by the label of his family "Coat of Arms" (Extant Recte Factis Proemia) with his name inscribed on it.
