JESSE PAUL SNYDER
Jesse Paul Snyder, of Reston, Virginia, passed away suddenly of a heart ailment at age 57 on Saturday, January 19, 2019. He was born on February 27 1961 in San Angelo, Texas, to Grover C. and Sigrid E. Snyder. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother, his sisters, Heidi E. Powell (Tom) of Reston, VA, Leslie Y. Graham (Mike) of Semmes, AL, nieces Jessica Beshai of Reston, and Amanda Graham of Semmes, great nephew Dominic Beshai, and longtime partner Suzanne Cale Young. A lifelong electrician, Jesse's career took him from Maryland, to Florida and, for the last eight years to Alexandria, Virginia, where he worked with Eugene W. Zimmerman Corporation. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran and an accomplished and knowledgeable Civil War and World War II history buff who loved nature and who lived life with exuberant passion. But mostly, he was loyal and devoted to his family, business partner, and his many friends. Jesse will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Semper Fi! Consistent with his wishes, Jesse's body will be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 16, 2019 at 12 noon at King of Kings Lutheran Church, located at 4025 Kings Way, Fairfax VA 22033. Family will receive guests from 11 a.m. until services time at 12 noon.

Leslie, Heidi and Sigrid. I was so saddened to read about Jesse's sudden death. I remember him as so cheerful and fun loving. I am sure he will be greatly missed. So tragic. I hope all of you are doing well.I am also still in Reston. All the best. Tom Bradley

Spent my High School years with Jesse. We had a lot of good times throwing footballs, and doing all the great things friends do. He and his family were all great people.
To be remembered as one of my best friends growing up. My heart goes out to the family, but rest assured Jesse brought joy to many.
