In 1973, he was a founding partner of Webster, Johnson, and Stowell, an international consulting firm. Between 1978 and 1999, Mr. Johnson was Vice President of International Affairs for the FMC Corporation, supporting their energy, food, transportation, chemical and defense groups in developing and financing trade and investment opportunities internationally. He was also active in numerous international business councils throughout the DC area. In 2000, he co-founded an international trade and investment firm, the Drake Group. Mr. Johnson held board positions at the Foundation for International Arts and Education and the Great Falls Citizens Association, and he worked to develop a business technology partnership for Thomas Jefferson High School in the school's early years.
