I just heard of Matthew passing. Feels like an age since I spoke to him in person as I haven't been riding MTB or watching road races as my son is away in University. I always enjoyed our conversations, whether pre race checking out courses, after a race or in passing in the street. My memory of Matthew is of a thoughtful kind, spirited, positive and fearless person, I was always happy to see him and catch up. My thoughts and condolences go out to Daniel and to Mathew's family and friends.

I´m shocked and saddened at this very sad news! Matthew and I were in university together at DAL and were study buddies for almost 3 years! He always had a smile/ kind word and lots of hugs for everyone. His love for cereal always made us laugh and his positive attitude kept us all going! We always had so much fun when we visited Bermuda. Rest in Peace my dear friend Matthew ! My heart is broken! Godspeed and fly with the angels!

I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew during our BEPRO days when we sat on the Executive Board in 2013. He was such a great guy, helpful, kind and easy going.. always wearing a smile and truly a genuine person. I saw him a few months ago and we caught up for a bit, he just always was in a good mood. His soul is at peace now and will forever live on through his beloved son. Prayers going up for his family.

Hi family and friends of the late Matthew Ringer. Saddened and still in shock when I received that dreaded phone call from our salsa instructor Jamelle Ming last Thursday morning. Dennis, Debbie, Matthew and I were salsa dance partners from 2012. He became a phenomenal lead and now he's dancing in heaven. Reminiscing about our 1st salsa congress in 2014 and 2015 heading for Tampa. So many wonderful and fond memories. One was when he and Daniel drove 3 hours from Orlando to Tampa to surprise Chantal and I in 2016. There are so many other events we attended that I'll run out of space. Sleep in peace my friend. Our salsa community has lost a wonderful dancer and a special man. I'll forever miss you.

I baptized him many years ago at St. Patrick's. He was still very young when I left Bermuda as were his siblings, a lively bunch of sweethearts.

I have very fond memories of Matthew from the Devonshire Squash Club where we had many battles on court with lots of laughter and friendly banter! I saw and spoke to Matthew a few weeks ago at the squash club while he was proudly watching his son Daniel play in the National Championships. Matthew had that usual upbeat, positive and easy going demeanor. My condolences to the family and particularly Daniel who my son (Matthew) and I have got to know over the years at the squash club and downstairs in the gym where we always have the latest music cranking. Daniel is a fine young man with a great attitude who always has a smile on his face (just like his Dad). Let´s all support Daniel and the family in this difficult time. We all have a lot of great memories of Matthew over the years so let´s focus on those! Rest in peace Matthew.

Matthew, what can I say, So many memories of playing around the yard as kids. Though like many, our paths took us elsewhere, these memories are reflected of fondly (as you are) I am saddened we are here. To Mrs. Paula and the Ringer Family, I worked with Matthew's father, Dr. A.G. Ringer, in the Imaging Services Department (formerly Diagnostic Imaging) at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital as a Medical Secretary. My colleagues and I heard nothing but wonderful stories about Matthew and had some good chuckles. May God bless you and your entire family in this time of sorrow.
