Dale Malm Obituary
Dale was born on April 6, 1934, in Caribou, Maine. He was a peace time veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
Dale moved to Anchorage in 1973, and resided there for 44 years. He retired from the I.B.E.W.
Statement from AMVETS: "Dale was a Life Member and Charter Member of AMVETS. Never forget Post 11 in Wasilla, Alaska. He served as Judge Advocate from approximately 2004-2015. He helped write the Constitution and Bylaws and was very helpful in obtaining appropriate licenses for AMVETS Post 11 to achieve legal status. He was called on to give legal advice of AMVETS Post 11 and at the state level. Dale served as an AMVETS Alaska officer at the state level for several years."
Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Jaclyn.
Memorial Services will be held in June 2017, at Kehl's Legacy Funeral Home in Anchorage. Burial will be at Fort Richardson National Cemetery.

I had the honor and pleasure to meet Mr. Malm at his daughter's house where he was staying. He had such good stories! I found out how great a man he was when I was at a Muscular Dystrophy Lock-up Fundraiser with his daughter Julie, and we were sitting at a table with a few guys who found out who her father was and they told us how great he was. They used to work with him. It's pretty awesome when total strangers validate how wonderful your parent is. He did things right. Rest in Peace, Dale.

My deepest sympathy to all Dale's family. He was a good and honorable man. I have know him for 20 years. He fooled people with his booming voice, but I knew what a soft heart he had. If someone needed help he was one of the first ones to help out. All of us at AMVETS Post #11 loved him dearly. He was a asset to us. He will be missed.
