Angel Rios Obituary

Angel Rios Jr. March 18, 1966 - August 14, 2012 On August 14th 2012, our beloved Angel Rios Jr. was taken from us at the age of 46. Angel was known for his loving nature, funny personality - like a crazy drill sergeant, always smiling and laughing with family and friends. Angel always embraced anyone who needed help or advice, with open arms. His journey in this world may have come to an abrupt end, but his life was fulfilling. His career in the military, the joys of fatherhood, and the growth that comes from living life on life's terms. Angel graduated from North High School in 1984, he soon after joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18. Experiencing the world in the palm of his hand, Angel was able to incorporate his passion for cooking into a career as a culinary artist while serving in the U.S.M.C. Angel received an honorable discharge after 16 years of service. Throughout Angel's life he adored his children even when the miles and circumstances separated them. In the presence of his family Angel was a gentleman with immense respect and valor. One of Angel's passions in life was watching his favorite football team, The Miami Dolphins. You can say he was a diehard fan, wearing his jerseys everywhere and anywhere he pleased. He loved his team whether they won a game or lost to other teams. Angel was also known for his smile, he could light up the room with his charm. He had the ability to make you see the brighter side of any given situation. Angel Rios Jr. is preceded in death by his biological father Angel Rios Sr. and youngest daughter Samantha Rios. Angel is survived by mother Manuela Sanchez, step father Mario C. Sanchez, three sons, daughter, 5 step children, sister, brother, two nieces, four nephews, many aunts and uncles as well as a multitude of cousins. A private viewing for Angel Rios Jr. was held on August 18th, 2012 at Cherished Memories Memorial Chapel, in Bakersfield California. A special thanks to everyone who helped in this time of need. Angel, you will be missed by all who knew you and loved you. www.bakersfield.com/obits

May Almighty God give you eternal rest. I will miss you very much. You were one of the few people who could really make me laugh. I pray that God gives comfort to those you have left behind, who love you so much.

Angel, I just can't believe you're gone. My heart weighs very heavy right now, I wish you knew how much i love you, and i will miss you so much. This has been a very difficult time, i dont know how or when i'll be able to face Huero, Mario, Annmarie, and especially Bonnie. I know they love you sooo much, and the minute i see them i'll be balling, like i've been. You know how emotional i am especially when it comes to the ones i love. I'm sure you're looking down on me shaking you're head everytime you hear me crying i could hear your voice telling me "it's going to be
alright ma". You will forever be apart of my life cause you're in my heart and although it hurts right now thank God for all the memories he allowed me to keep. Rest in peace Angel, we love you always, your cousin charlette
