Steven King Obituary

Steven E. King Battle Creek Steven E. King, 49, of Battle Creek, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his home. Steve was born on December 27, 1963, in Battle Creek, the son of George C. and Bonnie J. (Bartholomew) King. Steve was licensed auto mechanic and was last employed with the State of Michigan. He loved to work on cars and enjoyed bikes and motorcycles. Steve was previously married to Lori Bateman. Steve will always be remembered by his family as a loving and caring person who enjoyed a good practical joke. Steve is survived by his daughter Kayla King and son Corey King and granddaughter Madyson and another granddaughter expected in April. Steve also leaves his sisters Sherry (Kurt) Hansen and Pamela Jozwik and his brother Michael (Lori) Ganger all of Battle Creek and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father George and his mother Bonnie King-Ganger. A memorial committal will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 15, 2013 at the family gravesite at Hick's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to The Haven. Arrangements are by Royal Funeral Home.
