Marcus Beasley Obituary
Mr. Marcus L. Beasley, age 72 of Cotter, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1941 in West Covina, California to James Marcus Beasley and Maryona Tennison Beasley. He married Donna Taylor on August 23, 1980 in Pomona, California.
Marc received a Bachelors degree in psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a Masters degree in secondary education from the University of San Francisco. He was a member and deacon of the Calvary Baptist Church in LaVerne, California and attended the Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home. He was an avid bowler and fisherman. He was president of his bowling league and an officer of the bowling association.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Beasley of Cotter; 2 daughters: Marcy Johns of Indio, California and Kimberly Beasley of Mountain Home; a grandchild, Delaynee Johns; a sister, Sherry Milhon of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 2-7 PM Friday, January 31, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5 - 7 PM. A funeral service, conducted by Brother Daryl Young will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter.
