William Delaney Jr.
William M. "Bill" Delaney, Jr., 85, of Caseyville, Ill., formerly of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Dec. 14, 1919, in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Bill worked as a meat inspector for the United States Army and worked for Mendelhall Ford, St. Louis, Mo., for many years. He also owned a pre-owned car sales company and his own truck leasing company, working closely with Keeley Construction and was a real estate entrepreneur. Bill was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post 365 in Collinsville, Ill., and of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William M. and Helen, nee Truville, Delaney.
He is survived by his sister, Catherine E., nee Delaney, Coyne of Palos Hills, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Coyne (Joe) Siblik of St. Charles, Ill., Mick J. Coyne, Ed Coyne of Phoenix, Ariz. and Trish Coyne (Joe) Miller of Darien, Ill.; dear friend, Ovil "Tex" Kadavi of Caseyville, Ill.; and numerous great nieces, nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the form of Masses.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill. A prayer service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

Funeral: Funeral procession to leave at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, from Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill., for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Clyde Grogan officiating. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
