Karen, Linda and families, please accept my sympathy in the death of your dad. I enjoyed visiting with him and your mom (my cousin) after we returned to Slippery Rock and then your dad after your mom died. He was kind and thoughtful. Jannet Mayer McCollum, Fort Myers, FL

Karen, Linda and families,
Your dad was a wonderful man and the best of neighbors to us. He and your mom were always so friendly, always ready to sit and visit with us. I will never forget that during the first vacation we took after Jacob was born (he must have been around 3) Jacob said he wanted to go home because he missed Gerry and Verna.
I am so sorry. God bless.

I remember Uncle Gerry from my childhood years with such fond memories... he was always smiling... Since I have lived in Texas most of my life, I had only seen him sporadically over the years. Recently though, in August of this year, I visited Pennsylvania again and had the privilege and honor of seeing him again. My mom and I visited with him, and he kept saying, "Wow, two beautiful women right here in my living room!" haha! We laughed so much at that! It was so special seeing him again, and thankfully I have a picture taken that day with him I that I will treasure always. He was a good man and will be missed.
