Julia Anne Murphy, age 68, passed away on December 5, 2018. Julia was born on November 20, 1950 to Carter and Georgeanna Shenk.
Julia graduated from Richard King High School in 1968. After graduation she attended Corpus Christi State University and graduated in 1977 as a Certified Public Accountant.
Julia enjoyed photography of shoreline water life and water sports, gardening and sailing. She will be remembered for her hard work, strong will and faith, concern for others before herself and devotion to family. Throughout her marriage of forty-six years, she maintained a strong and courageous battle with medical issues. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt.
Julia Anne is preceded in death by her mother and father, Georgeanna and C. Carter Shenk. She is survived by her husband Michael C. Murphy, brother Stephen C. Shenk and wife Pam, sisters Sarah L. Wright and husband Henry and Susan Nunnery and husband Curtis, five nieces, four nephews, six great-nieces, two great-nephews and brother-in-law Patrick T. Murphy.
A Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
