I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Wiles’ passing. I have such fond memories of being in her second grade class at Millersville. She always had a smile on her face and made learning fun. We were able to keep in touch throughout the years and I always looked forward to reading her notes.

I have had the pleasure to know Linda for over 30 years. She was just like a sister to me. Linda was such an upbeat, inspiration to many people. She always kept a positive spirit and outlook on life. Linda loved her family dearly. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eyes. She would always share what they were up to in school or sports and regale about visits she had with them. Linda was an avid writer and artist. Linda put her heart and soul into what ever she did. I am every so greatful to have shared so many wonderful times and memories with Linda. I will miss her dearly and know she is in a better place at peace.

To Rick and family:
Words can’t express the sadness I feel with Linda’s passing. I came to know her through the AARSPA chorus. Her enthusiasm and support for our singing group was immeasurable. My motivation to continue participating in this chorus is anchored in preserving her memory as an avid member. We miss her but her spirit goes on as long as we continue on. May she rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon her until that great day when we all shall meet again. We stand on the promises of God. Amen. Alleluia!!!!

Rick and Family, we were so sorry to learn that Linda had passed away. She was our children's favorite teacher and they loved her. After meeting her, we could understand why. Whenever we would see her, she would ask about them and say to tell them hi. She was a wonderful teacher and all round wonderful person. May she rest in peace. SIncerely, the Colburn family

Rick, I am so sorry you and your family have lost Linda. She was a very brave and caring person. I admired her spirit as she faced so many health problems these last few years. I'm glad I got to know her.

I was lucky enough to have Ms. Hemmings as my 2nd grade teacher and then 2 years later, was even luckier to be the flower girl in the wedding when my 2nd grade teacher and PE teacher got married. I am so saddened to hear of her passing and want to express my sympathies to the family, especially Mr. Wiles.

Miss Hemmings as I knew her in 2nd grade. She was the sharpest dresser as I, a 6 year old remember. Then next year she was Ms. Wiles, isn't that funny......she had same name as my gym teacher. (Didn't figure how that happen until a few years later). She was so involved with her curriculum. She taught us all about pioneers. We made home made butter in her class and so much more. Rest in peace Mrs. Wiles
