Michael Matiz Obituary
Born to Cristobal and Polita Matiz in 1944, Michael passed September 13, 2015. A lifelong Annapolitan he was preceded in death by wife of 32 years Shannon Lee. He was blessed with 9 sisters and 3 brothers and raised in Truxton Heights. A talented Tile setter, he loved Maryland horse racing. Father of daughters, Natalie Finkle, Shannon Michelle, and one son, Robert Shannon. He left 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. A memorial service, followed by a celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday October 10, 2015 @ 2 pm at his daughters home 203 Taylor Avenue Annapolis, 21401. NO flowers please, donations are graciously being accepted by the children.

As you celebrate your 9th anniversary in heaven this month, I am on my way home for Mando´s funeral, but you know this already , `cause you are probably playing marbles together and having a lot of fun. Condolences to the family. Mike was such a nice guy & we thought very highly of him. He was very good to our doggie, Casey, dog sitting her while we were on vacation. He will truly be missed. Hugs and prayers to all.
