May you rest in eternal peace Kevin. The EP Boys will miss you. But you will never be forgotten. I can still remember visiting you in the Hospital when you got your eye scratched while playing quarterback on Saint Juicy Bananas tackle football team in grade school. What a wonderful neighborhood and time to grow-up. Your Pal Retired Detective. Dennis Fanning LAPD.

Kevin and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of you. I remember Kevin as one of Tafts star football players back in 72 when we took City Champs, but I never met him until our daughters were in kindergarten together. He was always wearing a smile and friendly. May Kevin Rest In Peace and may your memories help ease your sorrow and bring peace to your hearts.

Dear Family,
I was truly saddened to learn last week of Kevin's death...he was truly one of the "good guys." I do apologize that I was unable to assist with the ceremonies but due to a medical issue I am not to leave my house.
I first met Kevin at Eng. 35 when I came on board as the Chaplain. It was quite a crew they had on that shift and Kevin fit in perfectly. They invited me for lunch and it was quite a time...lots of laughter and good natured ribbing. Of course, I would run into him often enough there and at Eng. 7 and at all the various CFD events he attended. He was the sort of person you liked being around.
I did say Mass for him yesterday with the Sisters at St. Mary of Providence where I reside and am Chaplain. Did you ever think that there would be 7 nuns praying for him at once? God only knows what he would have to say about it!
He and all of you remain in my prayers.
Blessings,
Fr. Tom Mulcrone

Kevin was as good-hearted as he was handsome-- from his earliest days, to the "Irish Poet" he grew to resemble. I loved my dear cousin. We all did. And Kevin so loved his son and his daughters. You have made him proud. Praying for you all today, and for his dear sisters and family-- to find Peace amidst this loss of a beautiful man.
