RICHARD ROSENOW Obituary

Richard C. Rosenow, age 65, of Lake Geneva WI, passed away Wednesday August 18, 2010 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center Elkhorn WI. He was born June 13, 1945 in Norfolk VA to the parents of Wilbert and Grace Glaueke Rosenow. Richard married Susan Polauski on October 5, 1971 and she preceded him in death June 19, 1999. He was a Roofing Contractor operating Universial Contracting and Rosenow Roofing in the Lake Geneva Area and the Chicago area for many years. He was a member and past president of The National Roofing Contractors Association and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan, WI. He is survived by two daughters, Jill (Ed.) Stawicki of Evanston, IL and Katelyn of Lake Geneva, WI; son, Mark of Lake Geneva, WI; also Jeremy Cvicker of Whitewater, WI; a very special dear friend Patricia Jo Yager of Fontana; one sister, Jan Hawkins of AZ; also one niece and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Susan. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday August 24, 2010 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, WI, with Rev. Robert P. Rickman and Rev. Michael Flick officating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday August 23, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 24 at Irving Park Cemetery in Irving Park, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, WI is assisting the family.
