Ron was my older brother, he would always come and see us on weekends since he lived in the city. Ron loved to talk and he could always make me laugh, I will and still do miss him very much.

I was so very sorry to hear of this news. Ron was an amazing man and a wonderful volunteer! I had the pleasuer of working with him at Lincoln Park Zoo's Gateway Pavilion. He would welcome all guests with a warm smile and a kind heart. He always took his time with everyone. He truly touched the lives of so many. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

We'd like to express that Ron touched the lives of all his zoo friends and the thousands of visitors over the years. His dedication to this zoo, love of teaching children and working in behalf of the animals were constants with Ron. He will be sorely missed and greatly remembered.

Ron was a great friend and a very dedicated Wednesday docent at Lincoln Park Zoo. His many travels always made great conversation before we left the docent office to meet and greet the visitors. As will many others, we will miss him.
