Thomas J. Ward Sr., age 78, Korean War Veteran, beloved husband of Delores, nee Tepper; loving father of Thomas Jr. (Deborah), Sharon (Frank) Kernats and the late Diane Patterson; dear grandfather of Thomas III, Steven, Kelly Ward, Kristen, Ryan, Jillian, Meghan Kernats, Devon and Erin Patterson; fond brother of Therese (Mike) O'Reilly, Edward (Donna), Mary Ellen (Bill) Findley and the late Joe (Marge) and the late Bob (Taffy); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Co-Owner of Power Brake Dies and formerly worked at Accurate Manufacturing and Dries & Krump Manufacturing Company. He was also an avid golfer who enjoyed time with friends. Visitation Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. and Harlem), Orland Park. Interment private.
