He served his community for 19+ years between his time on the city council and as Mayor of Jonesboro. Terry was an avid collector of Ford memorabilia and a long-time sports fan of the Dodgers and Rams teams. He loved spending time with his family. Terry enjoyed many activities in his retirement including yard work, gardening, fishing, and riding his bicycle, especially with his great-grandson, Isaiah.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Poling.
A very special thank you to Dr. Adesola Awomolo, the staff at IU Health Ball Memorial Medical Oncology for all their help, and to Susan for all of her support and help.

I did not know Terry, but can only go by what I have seen in knowing his son. This tells me he was a great husband, father, and grandfather. My heart goes out to the family along with prayers for strength and comfort for the coming weeks.
