Michael Fitzgerald Obituary

Michael Clair Fitzgerald, 56, of Topeka, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. He was born November 16, 1955 in Oklahoma City, the son of Clair and Patricia (Wilson) Fitzgerald. Michael married Sheila Martinez March 18, 1989 at the home of his parents in Topeka. He was a respiratory therapist and worked many years at the Overland Park Hospital and Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Michael is survived by his wife, sons, Timothy Dyer, Michael Christopher Fitzgerald and cousin, Marsha Trickett. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Shipshee Cemetery. I had the honor of working with Mike at Overland park medical for over 5years. He was not only an excellant coworker, but a friend. He was always there for you. We had so much in common but mostly the combined years of working in respiratory was at least 70years. I truly believe that respiratory has sufferd a great lose. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and to all of us who had the priviledge of knowing him.
