Peter Raucci Obituary

Peter J. Raucci, Sr., 72, of Rochester, NY (formerly Bridgeport, CT), passed peacefully at home on Monday, January 22, 2024.
He was predeceased by his father, Cosmo, brother, Frank, and sister, MaryJo (Coughlin). Peter is survived by his mother, Angela, sister, Diana Coppola (Mick), and brother, Emilio. He is also survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia (Ferraro), his children, Peter (Tammie), Melissa (Ben), and Allison. Grandchildren, Gavin, Adrianna and Giovanni, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Theodore's Church, on Spencerport Road in Gates, NY.

First l would like give my condolences to Pete´s family and friends. I met Pete in the early sixties. We went to the same school and lived within a block of each other. We became friends from day one. Pete was one of the most loyal and best friends I had. He was funny and a real character. I have so many great memories that I could write a book! As you get older and remember your friends you realize what a blessing they were. It was an honor to have Pete in my life. My prayers are with you all. Jim Pappas

Our deepest sympathy on hearing of Pete's passing. We are sending so much love and many hugs. One of our favorite memories is when I brought Jon home to meet ALL the family and Pete walked in and laid a Big Fat kiss on his lips. Being 19 and from a dry white toast family it took Jon by such a huge surprise he didn't know what to do. The look on his face made everyone crack up laughing. The smile and belly laugh from Pete is a memory we will cherish and laugh at forever. Also, Jon loves to tell that story to friends. Cherish all the memories and know he is partying with all those we love.

Worked with many years at Kodak Enjoyed playing a lot of golf with Pete too. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. I send my prayers and love to his family. Rest in peace Pete.

We grew up together with his brother Frank we were like brothers eating over each family´s house. We did everything together.I remember we were playing around upstairs in his bedroom Frank jumped on the bed I jumped on Frank and Pete jumped on us and the bed leg went right through the ceiling. Cosmo and Angelina came running upstairs and Cosmo laughed and every time I seen him he would tell that story and laugh. God please take care of my Friend Pete and RIP also my condolences to Pat and the rest of the Raucci Family .
