MARTHA KIRCHMANN Obituary
She is survived by 10 children: Kathleen (Arthur) Geen of Port Richey, Fla., Germaine (Tony) VanDerheyden of St. Charles, John Henry Jr. (Carol) Kirchman of Hinckley, Ernest (Martha) Kirchman of Remer, Minn., Sharon (Lester) Voyles of Rochelle, Paulette (Tim) Tewksbury of Sycamore, Diane (Vernon) Long of Maple Park, Josephine (William) Susina of Clare, Andy (Deborah) Kirchmann of Sycamore and Susanna (Jim) Smith of Sycamore. Martha's legacy includes: 36 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, with five more expected, twins included. Martha is also survived by four sisters, Mary (Edward) Gudek of Woodsville, N.H., Isabelle Butt of Elgin, Jane Usczienski of Elgin and Lucy Mogler of Sycamore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Kirchmann Sr.; one son, Edward Lee; two daughters, Janet Walk and Jean Hardt; one son-in-law, Harold Hardt; her parents; six brothers, Charles, Henry, Robert, John, James and Arthur; and one sister, Anne Faber.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 25, with a wake service to begin at 4 p.m., at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn. The funeral will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, with a high Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Virgil. The Rev. Frank John Timar, MSC, pastor of the Church of St. Mary's, Sycamore, will officiate, and interment will follow at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name to be given to Masses. Checks can be made to the "Martha Kirchmann Memorial" and mailed in care of P.O. Box 66, Elburn, IL 60119. Tributes and memorials can also be forwarded to the family at the same address or through www.conleycare.com.

Dear Kirchmann families,
We are very sorry for your loss of a great mom, grandma, great grandma, aunt, etc. She was a special person to you all and she will be missed by many. The family memories you all get to share is a wonderful thing. I am so glad she was our neighbor for these last few years and we got to share a meal and "pie" together often.
