Timmy Williams native of Currituck County Timmy Williams, 28, of 109 North Mallard Court, Grandy, N.C., died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Virginia Commonwealth Medical Center in Richmond, Va. Mr. Williams, a native of Currituck County, N.C. was the son of Larry Williams of Grandy, N.C. and Celeste Holt of Poplar Branch, N.C. and the fiancée of Jennifer Forest of Grandy, N.C. He was a carpenter with Cozy Kitchens, an avid softball player, a softball coach for Cozy Kitchens, and an above average billiards player. He loved his job and family. In addition to his parents and fiancée, he is survived by a son, Timothy Lee Williams Jr."Deuce", of Grandy, N.C.; a sister, Nicole McCarter; a step-mother, Michelle Williams; and a step-father, Roy Holt. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Jarvisburg Church of Christ with Minister Dennis Crehan and Tom Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service and at other times at the residence.
