Our lives were forever changed the evening of Saturday, February 19, 2011 when we lost our beloved son, brother, beloved husband, father and uncle, and nephew. John was born September 27, 1969 in Torrance, CA. He resided in San Pedro, CA while attending South Shores, First Baptist and White Point Elementary schools, graduating from San Pedro High the summer of 1987. After finishing high school, John joined the US Army. He served in the Iraq conflict from 1987-1991 where he was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany with the US Army Corps of Engineers. After the service, he settled in San Pedro finding employment with Oldsmobile Plaza of Gardena, CA. He was awarded "The Best Salesman Award". He then was employed by Stephen's Plumbing of San Pedro, CA and Bob and Marc Plumbing of Hawthorne, CA. He was schooled in the field of heating, refrigeration, paving the way to a future on the waterfront. He found employment with Pacific Crane Maintenance Company (PCMC) as a refrigeration and crane mechanic and member of I.L.W.U Local 13 for the past 16 years. John was best known for his quick wit and tender heart. On December the 6, 2000, John married the love of his life, Cassondra Marie Carbajal. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Duke and Ann Reynolds and Frank and Liberty Albano. He is survived by his parents, Stan and Marie Reynolds; his brother, Christopher (Lisa) Reynolds; four sons, Joey (15), Gage (9), Ayden (7) and Drake (6); two nieces, Alyssa and Kaitlyn Reynolds; and nephew, Christopher Anthony Reynolds, Jr.; uncle, Buddy (Ida) Reynolds; aunts, Erma Bodner, Fil Albano (Bernie Cleary) and Rowan Sebesta. I can only imagine what you and your family is going through; it will be a year this March 10th that my Mom Bobbie Chavez sought eternal life. I didn't know John; but both Stan & Marie always had a gentle spirit and God's grace instilled in them as followers of Christ Jesus. My heart goes out to the Reynolds' family! Rejoice always and keep memories in your heart always! Love & Blessing always, Michelle & Mani Malaepule
