Dear Judy, Matt and John and your entire Family, Although it is more than a year passed since Dan took Flight into the Next Step beyond this life, Ive just learned of his departure. I will never forget the enjoyment of gardening at your lovely homes and the times Dan would walk up the driveway to the Big Rock, checking on the mail, smiling a greeting, with his arms open wide for a hug. His style of life was expansively warm, inclusive and deeply caring of those he knew and it is clear that he cared as deeply about humanity. My husband, Stu and I have fond memories of visiting with your family on Harbour Island, attending the Barn raising and seeing Dans sheer joy of creativity, always working on something. And Judy, it was well witnessed by me that you and Matt were his absolute greatest joy. May you always feel his strong loving arms around you as you move forward because the depth of Dans caring leaves a lifelong imprint. ❤

Dear Judy,
I just learned the very sad news that Dan passed away on January 25th. My wife Marcia and I are in shock and extend my deepest sympathy to you, Mathew and his wife and their two children, and his brother John.
Dan was a special gentleman, friend, classmate and fraternity brother, and I have fond memories of our time at Lafayette and Zeta Psi and warm welcome from his parents in their home one time with Dan. I also remember the most relaxing visit and welcome you and Dan gave me when I was in Boulder on business several years ago.
Dan certainly is with God. There are places in the heart where memories live and love endures. May you all find comfort and peace from the memories in your hearts, and may you find strength from the sympathy and concern of those who care deeply.
May God bless you all.

Please accept my sincere condolences dear family and friends. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. And may you find hope and comfort in God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17).
