James C. Antonelli

James C. Antonelli of Algonquin A funeral Mass for James C. Antonelli, 81, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Margaret Mary Church. He will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Born Feb. 13, 1921, in Thorold, Ontario, Canada, he died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, in Algonquin. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Mr. Antonelli served in the Canadian Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Ruth; children, Robert Antonelli of Hemet, Calif., William (Maureen) Antonelli of Powell, Ohio, Constance Antonelli of Ontario, Calif., Leslie (Chris) Baldwin of Antioch, Calif., and Keith Warner of Cary; grandchildren, Dominic, Lauren, Eric, Veronica, Dawn, Evelyn and Lisa; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Armand (Rita) Antonelli of Mesa, Ariz., Ruth (Gib) Davidson of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, Doris Stanley of Tucson, Ariz., Dina (Jack) Davidson of Tucson and Paul (Kathy) Antonelli of Tucson; and sister-in-law, Margaret Antonelli. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean (nee MacDonald). Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Road, Algonquin.
