I was greatly moved by learning of Scott's death. You may remember me and my family (Culvers). My father (Doug Culver) died Jan. 29th 2007. I knew Scott as a talented, sensitive and pure soul. I will pray for the whole family.

I remember working with Scott one summer in high school and coming to my wedding. Those are the kind of memories that I still cherish.

God's Peace for your whole family

To Scott's Family,

My name is Molly (Mizer) Mollmann, and Scott deeply touched my life. I worked with him at Printed Concepts in Chicago back in 1989/1990 and spent much time with him until I moved back to Cols in 1994 . Scott changed my life with his amazing creative talent, goodness and his gentle soul and spirit. He came to see me in Columbus several times, came to my wedding, designed my Husband's store, and no matter how long it had been, we could always get right back to deep meaningful, spiritual, creative, discussions.

He is a big part of why I'm who I am today, and he will always be in my heart and soul.

There is only one Scott Hanselman...A rare, unique and amazing person whose presence made this world a better place. Please know that I am thinking about your family and that I'm sorry that I did not get this to you sooner, as I didn't know of his passing until today (7/12/06 via a letter from Julie). My love and deepest prayers to your entire family--

To Scott's family and friends,

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Like Mark Taylor, I knew Scott at Wheaton North. Just today a mutual friend told me of his passing. We were in Show Choir and musicals together. He was a great kid, and I'm sure, a fabulous adult.

God bless,

Mark Taylor

So sorry to hear of the loss, I was in Alot of Plays and Musicals with Scott at Wheaton North. My prayers are with you at this time.

The Hanselman's "adopted" me into their family when I attended Wheaton. Mother taught Scott to sew on one of her visits and she was always proud of his accomplishments. It's wonderful to have two families...and now I've lost a "brother" from both.

Love,

Ginger

Hanselman Family,

I worked closely with Scott at DePaul. I will miss sharing chocolate, going downstairs to Starbucks, and working late hours on rush jobs with him. He truly was a good person, and so often made our hectic days more bearable...especially when singing fake Broadway songs about work. (He sang real songs, and hymns, too.) I will miss him, and will keep him and all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Scott, I am sorry I couldn't get my act together to paint your car. I loved all the times we could see each other over the years... I appreciated your outlook on life. I liked feeling like I was "never alone " in my journey of discovery of dreams and aspirations. To Scott's parents; you were blessed with a gentle soul, your son, Scott. Scott, I miss you so.
