Charles was such a godly man. It showed in every endeavor, conversation, project, the way he treated all family, and in everything he did. I will never forget how kindly he always spoke to me and how he encouraged me to write a book about my life. I regret I never attempted that. Even though we lived so far in distance, we did communicate via e-mail and Facebook. I will never forget what a sweet, wonderful man he was. My heart goes out to Charles' entire family, Carolyn, children, grandchildren, and Ron. This world has suffered a tremendous loss.

Our Prayers are with you. We'll remember Chuck as an enthusiastic fan watching all of his grandkid's activities. He was a loving person who looked out for my Mom and Dad as they went through their struggles. Please let us know of anything we may possible do for you. Heartfelt condolences Steve and Joann Shuder.

I cannot tell you how much I will miss him. My prayers are with the family as the go through this sadness. We were first cousins and had a special bond. We went to school and college together and kept in touch. My heart is broken and I can only imagine how the family feels.

My deepest sympathy to Carolyn and the children and Ronnie and Nancy and their family on the passing of Charles. I didn't get to see Charles and Carolyn often, but when I did, he was just a wonderful gentleman and cousin. He and my Dad, William E (Billy Boy) Lorance were first cousins. Charles was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed even if I didn't see him often. May God comfort all the family.
