Family-Placed Obituary

MILLER, James Russell 'Russ' Age 78, of Dayton passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006 at his residence. Russ was a member of Oakcreek Worship Center. He retired from NCR after 25 years of service and served with the United States Army during the Korean War. Russ was preceded in death by his son, Timothy and brother, Ed Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Gladys Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Pam Miller from Liberty Township; daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Richard Luther of Vandalia, daughter, Shirley Stewart of Kettering; grandsons, Jared Miller, and Tim Jennings; granddaughter's, Danielle and Amber Miller, Sheila McBride, Jamie Coley and husband, Curt, Trina Purvis, and Tammy Richardson and her husband, Randy; great-grandsons, Brandon, Justin and Scott Richardson, and Seth McBride; great- granddaughter's Paige Purvis, Savannah Hix, Hannah, Emma and Gracie Coley, special affection to nephew, Bill Taulbee and his wife, Rita; brother, Clayton Miller; sisters, Alda Taulbee, Hazel Montgomery and Alma Wicker. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park. Family will greet friends Tuesday, from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In memory of Russ, if desired contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
