Nicholas A. Favacchio

Nicholas A. Favacchio, 75, a longtime resident of Folcroft, Pa., passed away suddenly on August 18, 2018. Nick was a resident of Folcroft for 47 years. He was a retired employee of the Philadelphia Navy Yard. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Air Force. Nick was an avid fan of all of the Philadelphia sports teams. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth; his two daughters, Wendy (Mike) Stackhouse and Nicole (David) Greenjack; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Chase, Luc, Devon, Gabrielle, Mason, Cole, and Emerie; his sisters-in-law Denise Hauptman and Diana Southard; and his several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, August 24th, from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074. His Funeral Service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in Nick’s memory to The Philadelphia Zoo, Development Office, 3400 W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104 would be appreciated.
