Carol Burbidge Obituary

Loving Mother Grandmother
Carol Ann Paulson Burbidge returned to the loving arms of our Savior on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from pneumonia and Alzheimers. She was almost 78 years of age. Born October 14, 1933 to Heber Udale and Florence Elizabeth Paulson in Inglewood, California. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society President for many years. She also served as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. Well-loved and a dear friend to all. Married Boyd Burbidge on August 23, 1956 in the Los Angeles Temple.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Boyd, of 55 years; 5 wonderful daughters: Nadine (Kerry) Stanley, Sharon (Don) Maxwell, Judi (Cory) Wade, Cathy (David) Howell, Kelly (Jack) Barlow; 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; son-in-law; and angel baby great-grandson, Leo James Howell.
The family would like to thank Copper Ridge Health Care for their kind and loving service.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 15th Ward, 1457 W. Atherton Drive, Taylorsville, UT. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park on Monday, September 26, 2011, 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Carol's name to Alzheimer Research.

Grandma Carol, you are the one of the sweetest ladies i know the memories i have you will stay with me forever like listening to Neil Sedaka while we do dishes after a family party of making hankie babies but i think my mostest and bestest memory i have of you is cuddling up with you and having you rub my hear you had the best nook.
