Linda Birch Obituary
1942 - 2018
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in South Jordan, Utah. Linda Elaine Gillett Birch was born in Salt Lake City on January 21, 1942. Linda was the second of four children and graduated from Highland High School. She attended BYU before graduating from the U of U with a BA in Education and a minor in Fine Arts, which she was very proud of. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn Raleigh and Louise Boren Gillett, sister-in-law Margaret Allen Gillett, and brother-in-law, LaVerne Hevelone. She is survived by her husband, Gary Birch, her children, Lori (Carl) Johnson, Scott (Lisa) Birch, Darin (Misty) Birch, her siblings, Johanna Hevelone, Daniel (Margaret) Gillett, and Charles (Suzanne) Gillett, her ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 3, from 6 - 8pm at Larkin Mortuary Riverton, 3688 W. 12600 S. A viewing will also be held prior to the funeral on Monday, June 4, from 10 -10:45am with the funeral starting at 11am at the Riverton 16th Ward 1208 W 12400 S. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
