I was employed by Peter Bryk, State Farm Insurance Agent. I would always enjoy talking to Ron when he came into our office. He was such a nice man.
Unfortunately - Peter retired in 2009, but Ron is one of those customers that always left a smile on your face. Very sweet gentleman.

Ron was our banker for our law firm for many years. In the beginning, when we had only 6 employees and we really needed a loan to help us grow, Ron believed in us and helped us get that loan. He continued to support our business and was always there when we needed us. Our firm has now grown to 40 employees and we would not be where we are today without Ron's belief in us in the beginning and his excellent support along the way. Ron started out as our banker, but he very quickly became our friend. He was a warm and genuine man and he will be sorely missed. On behalf of the entire Ellis Porter firm, we extend our deepest and most sincere sympathies to JoAnn and the rest of the family. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. Rest in peace, Ron.

I am so saddened by the passing of Ron. He was the best boss I ever had at Michigan National Bank. My son Nabay also was in a bowling league with him. He inspired so many people. He had so much patience, understanding, & compassion for everyone. He was a volunteer & contributed much of his time for his community. He will be remembered by many. Prayers for his family.

My condolences and prayers on Ron's passing. I remember Ron well. He was such a friendly, intelligent guy. I loved rekindling our relationship when I taught his sons Kevin and Jason at NDP. I wish I could attend the funeral, but I'm currently visiting my family in New England.

This is why we shouldn't put off getting together with friends when we have the opportunity. : (
I worked with Ron at Michigan National Bank. I don't know if it was more fun having interesting conversations with him or giving him a hard time about something. I always felt bad that he had to deal with all us women and our moods and issues. Ron was by far my most favorite supervisor at the bank. He supported, helped and encouraged me. I wish I could have thanked him one last time.
I pray his wife and family find comfort in this difficult time.

I worked with Ron for many years and I always enjoyed seeing the smile on his face the minute I would walk into his branch. He was like that with everyone he interacted with. Ron was a man of positivity and one of the 'good guy's' that I enjoyed working with.
Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

There simply are no words that I can write to express my sorrow for all of you. Our family has had so many losses these past 8 weeks....all too young...all too good....Yes, maybe the good do die young. Ron was a beautiful smile!!!!! How he loved his family and adored his grandchildren. My precious JoAnn, you were high school sweethearts and going strong after all these years. Yours was one of those special loves that people can only wish for. May God bless you and help you to eventually find peace of heart. You are all so loved by our family. We will always cherish the fun memories with Ron. I pray with each day you find peace and strength.....he is now your own personal angel. Much love to you all. Prayers,

We're so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I bowled with Ron on the St. Anthony League for nearly 20 years. We had a lot of good times there and I considered Ron a friend. He was one of the last people I spoke with on my final visit to the bowling alley before moving to Tennessee. Ron was a good man and a lot of fun to be around. We'll all miss him a lot. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ron's family.

When I received the incredibly sad news of Ron's passing, years of Michigan National Bank memories at 10 Mile and Mound flooded back as if it were yesterday. He gave us all nicknames, and ours back to him was Slick. Best boss I have ever had in my life. May it bring comfort to your beautiful family that is in the comfort of our Lord and our Blessed Mother. It hurts so much that God's blessings are only loaned to us. Much love, prayers and deepest sympathy to you, sweet JoAnn.

Ron you've been a good friend and bowling buddy for the past 20 years. You were so friendly with everyone when it was your turn to bowl we would see you few lanes down, talking to someone. We would shout out Ron open lane. I'm sure at the bowling alley in Heaven Johnny (Be Good) Tingwill is shouting out Ron open lane. The league will miss you and I will truly miss you.

When I saw that Tom had posted the passing of his brother, I was shocked and saddened to say the least. But it is heartening to know that there is the most perfect ice rink in his heaven, and he is enjoying that already.

Ron treated me like a brother, and all his encouragement and instruction was a huge reason my interest and passion for hockey and staking was preserved!! I was probably 8 at the time I met Ron, and he was 10, but even back then I knew he had a maturity way beyond his years, Back then, your street ws on the other side of the world, but I was so glad you guys came into my life. Tom, my thoughts and prayers to the Naborczyks more than ever.

I used to work at Huntington and I remember Ron as one of the sweetest colleagues I had. He really went above and beyond for his colleagues and even came to my branch to coach me with business banking. He was always there for me. When I heard of his passing, I remembered how kind he was toward me and how enthusiastic he was about life. He will be sorely missed by everyone and I am so sorry for his families loss.
