To the Strawther family, I was sadden to learn of Ms.Ruby homegoing . We shared the same hair stylist (Don). We were often there at the same time and it was a joy to talk with her. She shared her recipes and knowledge of life. A lovely lady. God bless you. Joyce Hines (Arlington, Tx.)

To the Strawther family, I was deeply sorrowed to hear about Ruby and due to being out of town I was unable to attend any of the services. Ruby will be greatly missed, she was a special lady, a friend to many and she always had a big heart when it came to loving and sharing with others. I remember the conversations we use to have about God, family, and friends. Her number one priority was God and her family. May the blessings and comfort of God be with you guys at this time of lost for Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. "He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces". Isaiah 25:8

Kelso, In quiet moments when you are feeling low, remember the special times you and Ruby shared and let those memories of love bring you comfort. I will always remember the good times she and I shared walking in the hot sand sharing the goodies from the "Crossroad Store". I can not be with you and your family today but my love sorrounds you all.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
