Mommy, if you can see this, I love you. So many people loved you, and I don't think you ever really knew how much. I try to believe you are in a better place, but I miss you so much. My Mom tried so hard in this life, and although she was broken and tired in the end, she will forever be my strength.

Without her, our family is not whole. We loved her from the moment we met her, some 21 years ago.
Our children will miss their Aunt Carol and relish the memories she left them with.
Our mother feels as though she has lost another daughter, not a daughter-n-law.

I was a "sister-in-law" of Carol from her first marriage. I grew up loving her as part of my family. My sympathy to all those around her at this time, as I can not attend. I have many memories, and she will be missed.
