Charles Richard Tague, age 89, passed away at home on Friday morning, August, 25, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Jean of 68 years; and children, Stephen Tague (Joyce) of Robbinsville, NC, Kathryn Hannahs(Gary) of Westerville, Mark Tague (Colleen) of Castlerock, Larry Tague (Carol) of Deltona, FL. Also, he leaves behind grandchildren, Libby Sullivan (Mike) and family, Laela Behler, Nicholas W. Tague; Paul Jacob Burns (Rachel) of Clintonville, and Bryan Matthew Burns, of Westerville; great grandchildren, Miranda and Nick; and his beloved adopted family Hastings, Relindis, Hannah, Emma and Bella Agbor. Also, sister-in-law, Lois Compton. The family also acknowledges many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Charles is a retired Engineer from Rockwell, having begun employment there in 1952. In 1970, he bought 2 acres of property in Delaware County Ohio and built the family home, affectionately referred to as The Ponderosa, that will stand as testament to him for family members now and yet to come. Charles will be cremated and interred at Sunbury Memorial Park. A Memorial Mass will be said in his honour at St. John Neuman in Sunbury on September 9, 2017 at 12 noon. The calling hours will be held at the Church preceding Mass. Reception will follow the Mass at the Church. A commemorative party will be held on his birthday on October 7, 2017.
