David Stover Obituary
STOVER David Allen Stover, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away from cancer in the arms of his loving wife Edwina (Smith) Stover on Monday, December 12, at their home. David was born on 12/9/1960 in Oakland, California, to Cindy Weakman and Dave Stover. He lived and attended school in California and Hawaii. Currently, David was a Senior Engineering Technician in research and development of new computer micro chip products with Applied Materials. David and Edwina met in Sunnyvale, California, fell in love and exchanged their wedding vows in a beautiful hillside ceremony on June 20th, 1987. They have two beautiful daughters, Lynsiann and Kasandra Stover. David enjoyed classic cars. He bought, restored and rebuilt them to mint condition and loved driving them. He also enjoyed cooking and his steak teriyaki was a favorite of all who ever tasted it. He was a wonderful, friendly, understanding person and touched the lives of many people with his kindnesses and warm smile. All that knew him has lost a true friend and they will truly miss him. He is missed sadly by many family members. He is survived by his dedicated wife of 19 years, Edwina; daughters, Kasandra and Lynsiann; father, Dave Stover; siblings, Stephanie, Laura, Aaron and Traci with nieces, Chelsea and Cynthia Hines; mother-in-law, Annoffie Smith of Pataskala; brother and sisters-in-law from Edwina's family-all of Pataskala, Robert (and Mandy) Smith, Angella Smith, Liz Smith and Betty (and Jason) Buckles; nieces, Katelynd, Ashley; nephews, Austen, Brenden, Michael, Nicholas and Brandon; many other nieces and nephews throughout the US; best friend, Ken Poppy and family; and family friend, Bryen Wolfe. David was preceded in death by his mother Cynthia, Grandma Hazel and father-in-law Edward Smith of Pataskala who passed away on November 19, 2005. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, 12/14/05, in Idaho for David's family, friends and co-workers. Edwina will be accompanying David's body to Ohio on 12/16. The family will hold a viewing starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 12/17/05, at KAUBER-MILLER FUNERAL HOME in Pataskala, Ohio. The memorial service will start at 3 p.m. immediately following the viewing. David will be buried in the Pataskala Cemetery. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the David Stover Memorial Fund, under Trusteeship of Edwina Stover, at any US Bank branch to assist the family with covering expenses and medical costs.
