I only just learned of Doug;'s passing and am deeply saddened by this news. I encountered Doug sporadically in my 30+ years as a hearing officer and can say that he was a consummate professional and a gentleman at all times. It was a pleasure to see him in the hearing room and he was always willing to indulge me in a brief conversation about mutual acquaintances from the AG's office. May God rest your soul, brother, and give strength to your family. May his memory be eternal.

I had the great honor of knowing Doug for many years at R&A. I wish I could deliver these wished in person but live in Texas now. Doug was a truly honorable man, accomplished attorney, devoted family man and someone I always respected. God Bless.
