James Maholm Obituary

Maholm, Jr., James
1962 - 2021
James Emerson Maholm Jr, 58, of Dublin, Ohio, died suddenly on January 5, 2021. He was born October 13, 1962, in Dallas, TX. Jim attended business school in Columbus, Ohio and continued his education at THE Ohio State University graduating in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in history. He also served as a sergeant in the US Army Infantry. He married his sweetheart Tiffany (Kaminski) on April 20, 1991, at St Joseph's Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio. Jim was in energy sales for multiple companies ending his tenure at Enerconnex. All who met him and worked with him will remember him fondly, as he made friends with everyone he met. With a passion for bringing souls to Christ, Jim was dedicated to Catholic Men's Ministry for years and was recognized for his diligence and service and he was also a proud member of That Man Is You (TMIY). In addition to this, he was an active parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Columbus, Ohio for over twenty years. The Maholm family grew to seven as Jim and Tiffany added Madison, Bailey, Hayden, James, and Max. This past summer, in a beautiful wedding they added son-in-law Sean Stewart. Jim found great joy in his children and loved to support them in all their activities. He proudly attended musicals, plays, concerts, and sporting events. With a larger-than-life laugh, and a witty sense of humor Jim loved big. He loved to ski, loved the snow, and especially loved his Buckeyes and faithfully supported the Dallas Cowboys. He had a heart for outreach both at church and at home and worked tirelessly creating an atmosphere of welcome. He spent countless hours on the yard and plants creating an "oasis" for others to enjoy. Jim will be most remembered for his constant smile, his exuberance for life, and his uncanny ability to quote movies. Jim will be dearly missed by his devoted family including his wife, Tiffany of 30 years; his children, Madison, Bailey, Hayden, James, Max; and son-in-law, Sean Stewart. (His beloved dogs, Dusty and Milo). Also his sister Stacey (Dick Johnson) his brother John Maholm, Tiffany's parents Walter and Caren Kaminski, his brother and sister-in-law Todd and Denah Kaminski and their children and grandchildren and his beloved South Carolina family Ken and Anita Kelly and their children and grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Thompson, Ross (Jamile) Kelly, and Bess Marie Kelly. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Margaret Maholm and Sandy Maholm and his Aunt Doris Kelly. Jim and Tiffany also have two babies in heaven. Services entrusted to SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL SERVICE-WORTHINGTON, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio, where Jim's family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 4-7pm.
